It’s been at least a couple of months now since I started noticing this in a more pronounced way.

The dragons feel very present, but not in the same way as they used to.

Whereas in the past, I would sense them step forward and come closer when connecting with them (whether in sessions, journeys, or solo meditations), now I often see them standing back.

Still there. Still clear. And still very much energetically present. But definitely leaving space in between. There are some exceptions, though. Some dragons are still right next to or above me when I invoke them. But only in response to immediate needs. The rest seem to hover at the perimeter, but purposefully.

There’s a different kind of assurance to it.

It feels like space is being created for us to stand more firmly in ourselves. To feel our own footing. To recognize that we’re guided, but not meant to rely on it in the same way.

I’ve been feeling this especially in the body, particularly in my solar plexus. A kind of quiet recalibration. In some cases, a redirection, even, when I momentarily feel unsure about something.

This feels connected to the upcoming New Moon. But while new moons tend to represent new energies, new intentions, this one doesn’t feel like something new is being brought in. It’s coming through as a point where we can meet what’s already here with more awareness and determination.

The Carrier does not seek to convince, awaken, or correct others.
Presence alone does the work.

What has been integrated now moves through daily life—
through choice, timing, restraint, and action—
without distortion.

The function here is simple and exacting:

To live in coherence
after initiation has ended.

To walk back into the world
without leaving the fire behind.

The Essence of the Carrier of the Flame

The essence of this role is embodied remembrance.

The Holder of the Line appears after the first step has been taken—

• continuity through external pressure or distraction

• steadiness when momentum increases
